Some citizens in North Samarinda, East Kalimantan, were alerted on Saturday after learning that two crocodiles had escaped from a local quarantine center.
A citizen who goes by one name, Jasliansyah, claimed that he saw a crocodile with about two meters in length moving along bushes near his house.

"I saw a crocodile crawling in the bushes before submerging into the waters, just beside of my house," he said as quoted by kompas.com.

Quarantine officials confirmed the news saying that 13 crocodiles had somehow escaped. So far, the officials have managed to capture 11 and still looking for the remaining two.
Syarif Efendi, the head of the quarantine center, said that the two crocodiles were about two meters long and that he had warned local citizens to take extra precaution.

"I call on the citizens, especially those living by the river banks to be cautious and to report should they spot the crocodiles and not to take individual action. Although young, the crocodiles are dangerous," Syarif said. (and)
